Three

I haven't done a "Three" post in a while so here we go: This week I was pretty busy. Here are some highlights; Monday after work I finally got to ride Transformers! It's just like Spiderman if you're familiar with that ride. I waited in the single rider line for about 15 minutes, not bad considering the regular line was 45. (The lines are shorter at night.) Tuesday Ryan and I got to see the Blue Man Group which we turned into a date night, it was nice getting out during the week.

For the 4th of July we went to Daytona where Ryan's parents had a party. We drank, ate, played games, swam, jumped in a bounce house, watched fireworks and then lit off our own.

Date night

Last night Ryan and I saw the Blue Man Group at Universal. It was cool seeing it from the guests perspective. Any who; we actually got picked to be part of the show. If you haven't seen it you would have no idea what I'm talking about. We were the couple who came in "late." Not really, we were chosen but it was still fun to have the camera on us and the audience booing and clapping all at once.

Before the show we had some time to kill so we walked around the gorgeous Portofino Bay Hotel. It looks like a post card from Italy. I can't wait to stay there in the fall :) We also had dinner at the NASCAR Cafe, but that wasn't anything too exciting. Great date night, and tonight we're off to Daytona to celebrate the 4th of July with Ryan's family.

Weekend in photos

Over the weekend Ryan the dogs and I visited my family and had a little vacation....well not the relaxing kind. Friday we saw The Heat with Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy which was hilarious! Defiantly recommend it! Then Saturday we woke up at the crack of dawn for a garage sale, we got rained out but made about $100. $25 an hour, not bad for a short days work. At night my aunt, cousin and grandma came over for dinner and I got to catch up with them which was nice.

Sunday before leaving we went to the horse track where I won on the first race....$1.80! With my big winnings we had lunch at Red Robin Yummmmm. It was nice getting to see my family over the weekend. Besides the rain which kept us from kayaking is was a good weekend.

For some time now I've been trying to figure out where there was a big enough blank wall in my house to take some head shots in front of. I finally found it and got the lighting right. So as I sat there in a face full of makeup, my hair done and a nice top I had yoga pants and slippers on the bottom. lol.

Ryan was busy so I had to come up with a camera stand since I don't have a tall tripod. This is what I invited. It starts with a box, a large piece of wood, trash can and a small tripod that came with the camera. This all took place in the office I had the window wide open for the world to see me looking ridiculous but I actually got 4-6 good photos.

Summer concert series at Universal

I have missed all the concerts at the Universal Summer Concert Series so far but I will not miss Kip Moore! If you listen to country then you know his songs, "hey pretty girl" and "somethin bout a truck." It works out perfect for me because I work the same day so I can go straight into the park after work. So if you're going to be at the park that day and want to watch the show with me let me know...because I'll be there by myself. lol
