Birthday weekend

Over the weekend Ryan and I went to my parents house to celebrate my birthday a little early. Tampa Bay Brewing Company just opened up right down the road so we made sure to hit that up. It was cool because it was half inside, half outside. Although the crowd was a bit older it was still fun!

Sunday the entire family came over for dinner, presents and cake. I got everything I asked for... and more! I can't believe that I'll be 27 in just a few days. This month has been jammed packed with lots of family visits to Orlando, I love playing tourist :)

I started stocking up on all pumpkin food related items. It's the most wonderful time of the year!

Command center

I love gallery walls and while looking them up on Pinterest I came across a command center wall. Thinking back I've heard bloggers talk about them and I've seen how helpful they are. I immediately started pinning ideas and looking around online for baskets. I ended up getting the teal basket and black hooks at Old Time Pottery for $13 total. I had everything else!

It took a couple days to figure out the placement of the items, but I think it turned out very functional. Having everything that kind of sort of goes together on one wall is nice.

The final product has 2 whiteboards (Ryan likes to plan out his weeks), a calendar, basket for coupons, clock and a hook rack for hanging light things.

Figuring out the placements

The hooks were on sale for $3

I had this organizer in a box because there was no where for it before, now it works perfect holding little things

I love the teal basket with a chalkboard front

The final product. It's right near the front door so we have our keys hanging there :)

Fall decor 2015 [part 1]

Decorating for fall is so exciting because that means Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas are right around the corner! If you know me then you know that I'm obsessed with everything pumpkin; food, drinks and decor! I told Ryan that I would hold off on the pumpkin but that did't happen, all of the decor went out.

Since I put it up so early that means I get to re-arrange it all every couple of weeks until Thanksgiving! I miss not having a fireplace this year, but everything turned out great.

Luke Bryan now has a line of Yankee Candles

Gold decor and carmel scented candles everywhereeeeee
