Smoky Mountains

Back in December Ryan and I went to Gatlinburg, TN for a couple days. It was a very last minute trip in hopes of seeing snow and snow tubing. We did neither :/ It sure was cold so at least we got to experience a freezing winter. Snow tubing at Ober Gatlinburg isn't a huge tourist destination so you can only buy the tickets in person, by the time we got there it was too late. The only days we were going to be there it was sold out, there was a church group from FL there who took all the spots.

We drove overnight and spent 10+ hours in the car (we kept stopping) we were ready to do some site seeing, after learning that the snow tubing was sold out we walked all over Pigeon Forge and shopped. At night we went to The Island at Pigeon Forge and watched the water show and enjoyed the 28 degree weather!

Our next day had new plans so we did the Alpine Coaster a few times then drove into Downtown Gatlinburg, my favorite city of all time. There we went to a bunch of little shops, did some site seeing, pulled off the side of the road to climb a mountain and look at the creek.

Although we didn't do anything we planned on doing we had a great couple of days in the Smokies!

The sky was so pretty at night

My favorite thing about Gatlinburg are the random creeks you'll find
