Three

Another busy week has come and gone. Saturday and Sunday I worked Playlist Live which was a conference with YouTube "stars." I had no idea who anyone was but Rebecca Black (Friday Friday gotta get down on Friday.) You would have thought the Backstreet Boys were in town by the way those girls screamed.

Magic played the Heat in a close game but came out loosing in the end.

I accepted a job from Universal this week as well. I am going to be working in the box office selling tickets for the Blue Man group! I'm really excited because I have seen the show in Germany and at the Florida Music Festival a few years back and it's really good.

AC aka Amway Center

I've never really taken pictures of the Amway Center in it's entirety but when I had a break in between shifts last week I took the opportunity to do so. Well, just of the outside of the building. If you've never been inside, go to an event! It is the prettiest arena of all time (in my opinion) and it's pretty big too. During a full event it can seat around 20,000 people.

It's crazy, I didn't think I'd ever learn the building because of it's size but ask me anything about the arena and I could most likely give you the answer.

Something's that are unique about the inside of the building. 2 sit down restaurants. Bar over looking the court. Kids play area. Night club on the 6th floor over looking downtown. Just to name a few.

Three

Earlier in the week I was grateful to have 4 days off in a row. I did absolutely nothing productive and loved it! Right now I am in the middle of working 11 days straight. Oh the joys of being in the hospitality industry.

Jumped on the bandwagon and duct taped my phone charger with a pretty pattern

Easter is only 9 days away

Ryan's great aunt passed away last week. We went to a funeral service in Daytona on Tuesday

DT Otown

In between shifts Friday I had 2.5 hours to kill, not enough time to go home so I decided to walk around downtown Orlando. I hadn't been there in quite some time and never really walked around the Church Street area which has really progressed over the last couple of years. I looked like a tourist but I figured I wouldn't run into anyone while snapping some pictures.

Three

This week was full of different events other than hockey or regular Magic games. Also, yesterday I worked over 13 hours; went in when it was dark and left when it was dark. Thank goodness I have the next 4 days off :)

Paula Deen talked about getting healthy and cooked some chicken fajitas that were really good at Bob Carr.

The Magic played the Lakers. Some fans were not too happy about Dwight Howard being back in Orlando playing for a different team.

Going to and from work in the dark.

A day at Sea World

Last Tuesday Ryan and I both had off which is very rare these days so we took advantage of his free parking and admission to Sea World. I had not been there since 5th grade! I remembered being able to pet the sting rays and dolphins and a couple other things but the rest was brand new. My favorite thing was Manta the coaster where you lay down the whole ride instead of sitting up.

Three

Another Friday, let's capture what I did this week besides work Wicked, Magic and a concert. Sunday Ryan worked the Darius Rucker concert for Bands, Brew and BBQ and got some really good pictures. He does security and investigations so he was back stage with him all afternoon.

Tuesday we both had the day off so went to Sea World! I haven't been since 5th grade so everything was new to me and it was a beautiful day to be outside.

Through out the week I had been eyeing this branch outside that had fallen and wanted to hang it somewhere inside. First I had to figure out how I was going to get it on the wall since regular nails wouldn't hold it up. I finally found the right thing and got it on the wall. I think it makes a nice addition to the living room. It might get moved to the master because I got around to hanging up things in there and there is still a lot of blank space.

St. Patrick's Day mantel

In the spirit of the green holiday I decided to do a little something with the mantel. I got the flowers and banner from the dollar store and had everything else. After I took this first picture I added some festive cups (as seen in the last picture.) It's nothing much but it sure does make our living room look festive.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

These mason jars are getting lots of use

Florida has hills

The weirdest thing about our apartment complex, there are hills everywhere! The last time I saw hills was in PA so it reminds me of when we lived there. I know this isn't anything exciting but I thought I'd share with you that hills in FL do exist and if we were to ever get a snow storm you'd know where to go sledding. haha. By the way, we live in Apopka, right outside of Altamonte Springs.

Three

This week has been full of Wicked, Magic and Solar Bear games. I've been working almost 2 weeks straight and I'm ready for a day off. That is it.

Wicked is really good. If you get a chance it's going on until March 10th at Bob Carr.
