I had the last 4 days off and it was glorious. We redid our whole living room! We've been on the hunt for a real couch (previously dingy futon) for a while now. We got to talking and decided that the next couch we get we're not getting rid of it and when we move it will actually come with us. Looking at couches was a disaster, who knew couches were so expensive. Long story short I found one on Craigslist for $100. It was originally from Ikea for about $400. It came with a zebra cover so Sunday morning we went to Ikea to get a new cover and other things.
The next thing I didn't want to pay full price for was a coffee table. You can get them pretty cheap if you are constantly looking around. I got this huge Ikea one from Goodwill for $20, retail $40. All of my patiently waiting and constant looking paid off.
