Pumpkin Spice Latte reviews

I've been trying pumpkin coffee's and lattes over the past month trying to figure out which one is the best of the season. There are some that were not worth the money, Einstein and Panera (I honestly did not finish either drink because they were not good.) Starbucks and Mc Donald's had the best in my opinion. My go to fall drink is iced coffee with cream and pumpkin, Mc Donald's did not disappoint, I was pleasantly surprised especially since it was less than $2.00.

I'm obsessed with everything pumpkin, it's become an adventure every time I go to a grocery store. If you're looking for everything pumpkin I would suggest Walmart and Trader Joe's they had the biggest selections, you're welcome :)

Halloween decor 2016

Fall and Halloween are my favorite things to decorate for. This year most of the decorations came from the dollar store and Target. I can't wait to get real pumpkins soon, they will be the finishing touch!

Trick or treat

Wall clings were $3 at Target, score!

Tombstone chalkboard is from the dollar store

Favorite fall find was this $4 wreath I found at Good Will, it had the original price tag from Hobby Lobby for $40

My Halloween "mantel"

Thanks for the table runner mom :)

More boos please sign $3 at Target

The pie that broke the internet

Last year Patty Labelle's sweet potato pie was a big hit, here is the YouTube video that made it sell out in a matter of days at Walmart and get posted on EBay for $20+. I never got one because the stores were always out so I gave up. When I was in Walmart the other day there were the pies, I immediately got one to see what the fuss was about.

I had never had sweet potato pie before, it was very good! I don't have anything to compare it to besides a pumpkin pie, it's much more moist and that's about the only difference. If you get a chance to try it, go for it but it's not a must have like the world seemed to think last year.

Happy Fall y'all

Last weekend I decorated for Fall. I know it's early and still hot and muggy outside, but it's my favorite time of the year! The I got some new decor from The Christmas Tree Shop this year, I kept putting stuff in the cart not looking at price tags and only spent $17!

The pumpkin beer has been drank, pumpkin candles have been lit and the pumpkin cake balls are cooking as we speak! I can't wait until EVERYTHING pumpkin is in the stores :)

Fall picture frames make me happy

Still love my monogram pumpkin

Chalkboard fall bucket list was only $5 at Christmas Tree Shop, score!

Carlo's Bake Shop

I've been waiting for the hype to go down about Carlo's Bake Shop in the Florida Mall, when it first opened there were lines all around the food court waiting to get in. You might recognize this store from Cake Boss on Food Network. Buddy's original location is in Hoboken, NJ, my sister and I went there a few years ago and got right in and out. This time was no different, Ryan and I went at an odd time so there wasn't much of a wait.

I got a reeses cupcake, the inside was good but the icing wasn't. It had a slick butter texture. During my visit in NJ I got a pumpkin cheesecake so I didn't have anything to compare it to. I would say it's good, but next time I'm going to try something other than a cupcake.

The storefront looks just like the one in NJ

You can buy shirts, bags and water bottles

All the desserts

The cannolis look good

More pastries

Everything you get comes in a cute box

I carried around the cupcake for a while so it got distorted

The inside was good!

Original location, this was in 2011

Spring time

It's spring time in Orlando, the weather is (kind of) cooler and the humidity hasn't started yet. We've actually been able to keep the patio door open during the day the past week! I'm soaking it all in before the 100 degree weather comes. Besides spring cleaning the apartment got a little spring makeover too (besides the Christmas picture on the wall still... whoops.) Fall is my favorite holiday, but the spring colors are a nice change!

Spring colored toes :)

Excited for Margaritaville's new line of scents at Yankee Candle
I'm obsessed with pineapples these days

Smoky Mountains

Back in December Ryan and I went to Gatlinburg, TN for a couple days. It was a very last minute trip in hopes of seeing snow and snow tubing. We did neither :/ It sure was cold so at least we got to experience a freezing winter. Snow tubing at Ober Gatlinburg isn't a huge tourist destination so you can only buy the tickets in person, by the time we got there it was too late. The only days we were going to be there it was sold out, there was a church group from FL there who took all the spots.

We drove overnight and spent 10+ hours in the car (we kept stopping) we were ready to do some site seeing, after learning that the snow tubing was sold out we walked all over Pigeon Forge and shopped. At night we went to The Island at Pigeon Forge and watched the water show and enjoyed the 28 degree weather!

Our next day had new plans so we did the Alpine Coaster a few times then drove into Downtown Gatlinburg, my favorite city of all time. There we went to a bunch of little shops, did some site seeing, pulled off the side of the road to climb a mountain and look at the creek.

Although we didn't do anything we planned on doing we had a great couple of days in the Smokies!

11 days until Christmas

We've had the house decorated way before Thanksgiving this year so here is the rest of the decor. There are lights everywhere, and I mean it... all except the bathroom! It's cool at night when we have everything plugged in and there are fir tree candles all over. The lights are above the bed, in the window, on the porch, in the kitchen and around the front door inside.

This holiday season is turning out to be the busiest yet with lots of trips and holiday parties to attend. Gatlinburg, TN for 2.5 days, Christmas Eve with Ryan's parents (Daytona) then Christmas day with my parents (Tampa) then right back into work for over 2 weeks straight!

I'm trying to slow down on my days off but that doesn't seem to be happening either. I would like to leave you a quote from Christmas Vacation, "It's the holidays and we're all in misery."

There have always been white lights, so the colorful ones have been added for the season

The front door is so cute

I had to!!!

A real wreath makes the house smell so good
