Doggie park

This morning Barney and I ventured over to Fleet Peeples dog park in Winter Park before it got too hot in the afternoon. I've been wanting to take him for a while because it has a lake the dogs can play in. He likes the beach water so I thought he'd like this.... nope. He hated the water and all the dogs running around him.

He usually likes dog parks but this one freaked him out and he didn't leave my side the entire time. We found a trail and walked that, he was much happier to be in the grass. Coming from PA he likes the outdoors and being off a leash in the woods. We used to take him on trails by the waterfalls almost weekly so he has been laking the hikes over the past couple years.

Key West 2: Duval Crawl

Ryan's sister and I participated in the Duval Crawl.... drink at as many bars as you can on Duval Street in one day. This is the famous street in Key West where all of the bars, restaurants and shops are located. We were only a few blocks away which was perfect for our last day in Key West. First, we started with free rum and wine tastings!

We went to 5 places to get drinks, it was fun walking around the streets with beers in hand. They don't enforce the open container law, it's great! Here are just some of the pictures from our adventure.

*Tip, we had a bunch of buy 1 get one coupons but didn't use any of them because it was happy hour at all of the bars which in the end was a much better deal since we wanted to go to as many places as we could in just a few hours.

Big Willie. We left our mark on a dollar bill

Of course we had to go to Fat Tuesday's

A must in Key West, sloppy rita

Beer pong video game. Look who is number 3 for the month of June!!! (yes it says SHS but I hit enter before the R came up.) Also, Ryan is number 5 and his brother is 8!

Key West: part 1

As you all know last week Ryan and I went down to Key West with his family for 4 days. Even though we were there for a short amount of time we did a ton of stuff so I'll break down the pictures in different posts.

Wednesday included a full day of water activities like; snorkeling, kayaking, water skiing, slides and parasailing. We got some professional pictures of the whole journey up in the sky and do I look scared! It was actually a lot of fun and the highlight of the trip for me since it was my first time.

Oh god

Still scared

Really freaking scared

Not so bad anymore

Summer time beachin'

This summer is going to be a busy one. We've got 2 short trips planned with Ryan's family; Key West next week then Scranton 2.5 weeks later for a family reunion. Work has been crazy for multiple reasons right now. We are all ready for Diagon Alley (the new Harry Potter area) to be open already.

If you're interested in the craziness of the new land being open search #potterwatch on any social media, it's quite funny.

This song by Jake Owen is prefect for the summer, it's been on repeat along with Dierks Bentley, Drunk on a plane :)
