Feb Ipsy review

I am not totally dissatisfied with this months bag. I like 3 out of the 5 so that's good. I'm not planning on using the face mask, a lot of reviews said it burns your face. I also won't be applying the fake eyelashes. I wore some once and hated the glue feeling.

I do like the nail polish which is a creamy pale pink. The lip gloss is a good color it just smells really bad (but that goes away. lol) The purple eye shadow...I didn't know what it was so I put it on my lips and it felt weird so I put it on my eye lids and it worked.

I've always wanted to try this brand so I'm glad I got it

Love the shape of the container but the smell is awful

No wording on what it is. It's liquid eyeliner

6th fan

Last night Ryan and I went to a UCF basketball game because they were playing Cincinnati (Ryan got his masters there.) We had been wanting to go to at least one game this season and last week when I looked at the schedule and saw that UCF was playing UC I changed somethings around so we could go.

UCF did loose, sorry Knights that's not new news though. It was cool because AJ Rompza and Marcus Jordan were in the stands...it was like old times.

Speaking of which, this is the place where it all started. I worked there for 4 years while in school so it was great seeing a lot of familiar faces. It was also the first time I had been back inside the building since I left in 2011. It brought back a lot of memories.

Do you believe in Magic

A couple of weekends ago Ryan and I went to a Magic game with his family. I've been working at that arena for 2 years and this was my first time there as a guest. It was really weird, but cool at the same time. We got hooked up with our seats!

We all had a great time and glad that the Magic won!!

Our original seats wayyyyyy up top

First Magic game not working!

We moved and we could see the sweat dripping from their faces

Tattoo 1

5 years ago today I decided I was going to get my first tattoo (but ended up getting it on the 15th.) I always knew I wanted a star so I came up with a meaning behind it. There's a band called We The Kings and their song Promise the stars has a lyric, "And with the millions of stars we'll will never be alone."

The song is a cute little love song but I think of those words every time I think of my grandfather (he has passed away.) It just fits that with all these people in the world when you loose one of your own family members someone else will always be with you. I know that is not how the lyric in the song is meant to be viewed but that is how I interpret it.

This star is smaller than a quarter on on my ankle and 5 years later I still love it!

Blue suede

For my dads birthday I made him one of Duffs cakes (from the TV show Ace of Cakes.) I had heard that he came out with a line of cakes and frosting's so this was the perfect opportunity to test one of these out. I made "blue suede" which was a blueberry flavor. I'm not going to lie, I was disappointed along with everyone else who tried the cake.

The color was a bright blue which was awesome, but if you're going for the blueberry taste I'd skip on this one. There was just a little hint of blueberry. I've made a better blueberry cake with muffin mix and real blueberries.

The frosting was fudge flavored. It tasted like any other chocolate frosting so for the price I'd just buy the cheaper one next time, and that goes with the cake mix as well.

Strawberry cupcakes

We got this "surprise cupcake" tin for Christmas where you put something on the stick like candy or fruit then after baking you have a gooey treat inside your cupcake! My first attempt was with strawberries. Chocolate cupcakes, strawberry insides and strawberry frosting was the perfect combination.

Put a strawberry instead each cupcake

Just fill up with batter

Cook, frost and enjoy
