Every fall these kinds of bucket lists start popping up. This one was the cutest and most do-able one I could find. Minus the Hunter boots (I did try on a pair the other day - does that count?) I think the only other ones that aren't going to happen are, "drive to see fall foliage" and "go apple picking." Living in FL those things are just not feasible.

Happy 4 years
The past 4 years have flown by. We've moved across the country and back, 7 moves in total (if you know us we don't continue our leases. Lol.) We've changed jobs quite a bit and Ryan is now in school for his MBA at Rollins.
Here are some pictures from 9/23/11.

3 ingredient pumpkin cookies
I found this recipe on Pinterest and it sounded so simple that even I couldn't mess up. Only 3 ingredients for pumpkin cookies: pumpkin Jif Whip, instant vanilla pudding and one egg and all you have to do is mix it up and cook. I had seen the pumpkin Jif Whip online but never in the store, so when I was in Big Lots and and it was only $1.90 I knew I had to buy it.
I remembered this recipe and made sure I had the other 2 ingredients. I cooked the cookies in the toaster oven at 350 for 15 min then broiled them for 2 at the very end for a nice crisp on top.
This was great because it didn't make too many cookies and we didn't have a dozen left over. I would defiantly recommend this if you like peanut butter cookies with a hint of pumpkin!

Nc trip
Last week I spent 5 days with my cousin in NC. We try and get together a couple times a year. It was nice to get away for a little! Whenever we are together we spend hours and hours shopping, we both love a good deal! It was a cool trip because everywhere we ended up eating wasn't in FL, so I got to try a lot of new places.
Another thing we have in common is monograms. If I could I would put a monogram on everything, I would. We stayed up until 1am making monogram shirts one night :) While I was there I discovered a new brand, Crown & Ivy which is at Belk. It's reminds me to Lilly Pulitzer, but not as flower-y. I'm officially obsessed (there will be another post about that!)

Pumpkin coffee at Starbucks
BREAKING NEWS: Pumpkin everything is back at Starbucks!!!!!!
I've mentioned this before but, PSL's (pumpkin spice lattes) are expensive, so my favorite way to have a pumpkin drink at Starbucks is ordering an iced coffee with cream and pumpkin. Lattes have espresso in them, I don't need that much caffeine so I stick with regular iced coffee.
It's the same price as ordering an iced coffee with a special syrup (what I usually get anyways.) The pumpkin and cream are so delicious together that I think it's better than the PSL. Throughout the season I'll get one or two PSL's, but this iced coffee is my go-to fall drink for sure.... and cheaper!!!
Mixed perfectly |
It has an orange tint |
